Sea Girt Lifeguards enjoy competition.
Our highly competitive men and women that make up our surf racing teams compete locally, regionally, nationally and some have even been chosen to compete internationally on world teams. Our lifeguard athletes pride themselves on being the best they can be and are always in it to win it! Local races in Monmouth County every summer are a great way to compete against neighboring beaches and show off the skills used in our daily work as a Lifeguard. The surf racing teams also enjoy traveling to Ocean County, LBI, Atlantic and Cape May Counties to compete against other beaches throughout the state.
Our Lifeguards are always a presence at United States Lifesaving Association Regional and National Championships. The competition against other Lifeguards in our region and or nationally is always tough!
